2. Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low “Beethoven”
Normally I would fight anybody that dares to say Michael Jackson is anything but the best, but let’s be honest with ourselves: Nike totally botched the “Hyper Grape (colloquially known as Moonwalker)” colorway. While I’m not sure how black, white and shades of grey represent Beethoven, the execution and how they are able to create interesting color blocking patterns for both the lateral and medial sides is something all brands should be paying attention to. Isn’t it interesting that three of the kicks to make this list don’t really bombard you with that much color?
